The Nutty Bar Stand is located in the historic Arnold’s Park area. This classic ice cream shop has a variety of ice cream flavors to choose from, root beer floats and their famous nutty bar. They had a limited edition Butterfinger nutty bar that was delicious. We also enjoyed the cookie dough and salted caramel craze ice cream.

Great ice cream shop to visit on vacation! The Nutty Bar is a fun treat to get if you are on the go (also, if you know you want a nutty bar, there is an ice cream cart outside the front of the shop if you don't want to wait in line - although the line moved quickly - and want to eat your ice cream on the go). Great outdoor seating area if you're able to sit and enjoy your ice cream (plus, you can the water from the outdoor seating area too). The homemade rootbeer was absolutely delicious. The ice cream cones are huge. Great variety of fun and classic ice cream flavors from which to choose. We visited on a Saturday night, and the Nutty Bar Stand was open until 10 or 11 p.m. which was great to end the night with a sweet treat! Love this place!

The Nutty Bar stand is an Okoboji must. What is a Nutty Bar? It's a block of vanilla ice cream, dipped in chocolate, and rolled in nuts. It's a challenge to see if you can finish eating it before it melts on a hot summer day. They also run specials and right now the Nutty Bar is rolled in crushed Butterfinger! I'm hoping it becomes a new permanent item on the menu! My other love is Root beer floats and theirs are the best. Get it in a to-go cup and walk next to the lake while enjoying the perfect summer treat!

A great place to grab a treat in Arnold’s Park. The original nutty bar is a block of vanilla ice cream coated in chocolate and rolled in peanuts. They have a few other combinations too, plus floats and scoops. Very reasonably priced too!

Every time I’m in Okoboji I stop here. They are famous for their nutty bars but I always get ice cream or the chocolate covered banana! One scoop is $4 in a cup but a fun place to stop at. They usually have a few people so the wait instant very long.

It’s a pretty nice place to cool off and get a sweet treat. The root beer use to be really good but they must have changed the recipe and now it’s not that good. The ice cream and nutty bars are always delicious. I like how they put a little teddy graham on each ice cream order. They have pretty good prices in here. I recommend this place.
